A new way of Building in the COVID era.

Change is part of our everyday life, each day the world around us is slowing evolving and we as humans are constantly striving to keep up and adjust to that change. As real estate developers we are on the forefront of change, we must be able to predict and adapt before anyone else. This is essentially because we are constantly planning for the future, predicting peoples behaviors three years from now when the development project will be completed and its occupants will be moving in.

We consider ourselves to be early adapters, we are not afraid of change but rather embrace it and try to come up with solutions moving forwards. This is specifically true with the COVID-19 era that we are a part of today. It has become clear that the pandemic has taken a toll on all aspects of life, especially the way we live. People are forced to stay inside and work from home, as the idea of going in to the office has become a luxury. COVID is changing buying behaviors as well, before the corona virus pandemic there had been a trend of downsizing when it came to homes, today the demand for bigger homes has never been higher. This has to do with the fact that people are spending more time than ever before at home, they sleep, eat, and work from home. People are looking for space, maybe an extra room for a home office, a study, or a quiet place away from the noise of their kids and spouses. Gardens are also becoming popular again as it enables people to go outside within the safety of their homes, excercise, and get some fresh air.

In doing our part we have integrated new technologies in all our upcoming projects to create safer spaces to live in a world post COVID. In our most recent development, TorreMilano, we have redesigned certain aspects of the project to tackle some of the problems associated with the novel coronavirus. After a lot of research we found the perfect solution in creating an anti COVID skyscraper. TorreMilano will integrate a photocatalytic systems within the UV lamps, capable of cleaning the air inside the building of pollutants and harmful substances, such as viruses and bacteria. This will be the first building of its kind with such a system in Italy. In addition all shared spaces, including elevators and apartments, will have controlled mechanical ventilation and designated entry and exit routes.through these small changes we believe a new comfort can be found. As developers it is our duty to create a safer world for tomorrow, thus we believe we should make it our mission to adapt to our changing world and create a future in which we can find some comfort.
